Surprisingly this law suit did not come sooner, but late than never. New York gun right groups have teamed up with the National Rifle Association (NRA) to file suit in U.S. District Court in Buffalo. The suit names New York Governor Mario Cuomo, Attorney General Eric Schneidermann and others, asking for injunctive relief from the recently passed Secure Ammunition and Firearms Act (SAFE).
