The reason may be unclear, but I’ll take a win anytime I can get it. In some states, such as Florida, spring Turkey hunting season is well underway, while in others such as Kentucky, spring turkey hunters are just preparing for opening day on April 13, 2013. In Texas, turkey hunters have been able to pursue the elusive Rio in some counties while the Eastern season is just starting on April 15, 2013 in 28 eastern counties.
